These terms govern your use of the BookAmigo website and Android app. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them.

What BookAmigo is

BookAmigo is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent service professionals for home and lifestyle services, booked by the hour. The professionals are independent providers, not our employees. We verify them before they are listed, but the service itself is performed by the professional.

Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep access to your phone or email secure.
• We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms.

Bookings and pricing

• The price shown before you confirm includes the professional’s hourly rate for the chosen duration, a platform fee, and applicable taxes, less any coupon or wallet credit.
• Bookings are paid online when you book. A booking is sent to the professional only after payment succeeds. The professional may accept or decline it; if declined, you receive a full refund.

Payments

Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking and wallets). Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Conduct

• Treat professionals and customers with respect; harassment or unsafe behaviour leads to removal.
• Do not arrange to take bookings off the platform to avoid fees.
• Reviews must be honest and about a real booking.

Disputes

If something goes wrong with a booking, contact us through the contact page. We will review the booking record and chat history and work towards a fair resolution, including a refund where appropriate.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
